I’m still dealing with the family issues. Ongoing for this year and probably into next. Will be glad when this time of continued loss is over.
Plus, I’m working 12 hour shifts now, so my play time is down. I’m taking an extra break to make this update.
Let me say, if anyone who knows me in Second Life is reading this, that I am officially leaving that grid. Not only do I not have the time to play there at all, but it’s not worth my time, not at their costs and the other stuff. If you know me, you know what that refers to.
Each time I do go there to play or get something the creator TOS allows me to transfer over to Inworldz, I have to take extra time to spend time in Inworldz after. It’s like needing to take a hot shower and get clean after playing in the mud sort of feeling.
Tells me it’s long past time I ditched that grid.
Well, in spite of my busy schedule, I’ve managed to get a few things done at Kaedara.
For one, soon the story card journey will be ready on the sims. I have most of the story cards made and the podiums out. I just need to make the guide for the story journey to get one started and gather all the landmarks.
I’d like people to roam my sims and was going to make this a hunt, but understand many are using older computers and a total hunt with all the decor may deter some travelers. So each story card will give the explorer the direct lm to find the next podium.
Each book podium will give the explorer a folder with the notecard and a copy of the book they find on the podium for their own use at home. The notecard is the story card that gives a peek inside the world of my books.
The setting where one finds each podium is also created to show off something of the story found on the card. A setting from my world. A representation of a character or object from my world…or something similar.
New Summer Gazebos for sale at Enchanted Isles. Six versions so far.
All four sims of the Kaedara region are open now. As amazing as it sounds for Inworldz, I’m pretty close to using all the prims I safely can on three sims. Elvenglades has room for me to finish the store products as I’m able. Enchanted Isles sim has a little less than I originally planned, for I reserved 2k of its prims for building and breedables use in my private skyboxes.
I’d like to note that one will find a lot of seating and decor around my sims from Teal’s Pamplemousse stores. She is one of my favorite creators and closed her stores down for what I hope is a temporary break. I took advantage of her hunt for 300 free items and tried to buy those items I knew I’d be back for to use on these sims or the new one(s) I know I’ll get in the not so far future.
